This year has been absolutely incredible when it comes to Music. We've been
absolutely spoiled with far too much amazing music to keep up with. While
dominated by several huge albums from the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift
& Adele, there was still space for some smaller albums to shine. While
it's tough to narrow down the list to only 10 albums we've given it our best
shot and think the albums listed below all deserve at least one listen before
the year is out.
Let's jump right into it and see what made the list!
Lana Del Rey had some huge boots to fill when it came to topping her previous
albums, yet she somehow managed to retain her signature retro sound & style
with the release of ‘Honeymoon’. In a time when most pop artists focus more
on digitally created albums, Lana Del Rey instead opted for slow moody
orchestral strings and percussion, lending a classy old school feel to some of
her best work to date!

2013, is to release much-anticipated follow up LP Stories.
Comprised of 14 new original tracks, including lead album single ‘Waiting For
Love’ – a track that peaked at #1 on iTunes in 22 countries earlier this
summer – ‘Stories’ represents a natural progression in

We've got some great new
albums dropping this week, so we've compiled a list of some of our
most wanted!
‘Every Open Eye’ is the follow up to the
band’s breakthrough debut album, The
Bones of What You Believe, which was released in September 2013 to
widespread critical acclaim and went on to sell over 500,000 copies
worldwide.
Sonically, Every
Open Eye develops CHVRCHES’ signature style, juxtaposing the
light and the dark, creating their own brand of twisted pop music that uniquely
merges the organic with the electronic, moulding sounds and ideas forged over
two years on the road into an electronic-pop record with a
heart.
