It takes more than just a pretty website to create an award-winning online shopping site. Based in Millwater on Auckland's Hibiscus Coast, Mighty Ape is run from a large open-plan office that's connected directly to a vast 10,000m2 warehouse, and a 5,500m2 distribution centre in Christchurch.
Mighty Ape operates out of a 10,000m2 distribution centre in Millwater, on Auckland's Hibiscus Coast, and a 5,500m2 distribution centre in Christchurch. 1,070,000 of our fastest selling products are held in stock and can be delivered overnight anywhere in New Zealand (or delivered the same-day if you live in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch).
The backend systems that power Mighty Ape are custom made by our in-house web development team. New products are stocked in, assigned to a bin and then shelved in a location that's easy to find. When you place your order, we know exactly where to find what you want to buy.
When the products in your order have been picked, they go to our dispatch team for labeling and packaging. Depending on the size of your order, your products will either be sent in a branded Mighty Ape box or courier satchel.
We love experimenting with new systems to ensure customers enjoy the same speedy service while keeping track of our impact on the environment. Our new carton closure machine sizes cartons to fit products precisely. It then folds and seals the carton with glue, reducing the need for voidfill, eliminating the need for tape and reducing our carbon footprint.

Most of our team are based at Mighty Ape HQ in Auckland or our distribution centre in Christchurch, but a handful work remotely from all over New Zealand and Australia.
Much like trees in the jungle, our racking is really tall! Our pickers need a little assistance to pick the highest of products.

We guarantee overnight delivery within New Zealand on over 1,070,000 in-stock products. Products labelled "Available from supplier" or "Out of stock" will take a little longer. We work with CourierPost to ensure your order is picked, packed and delivered to your door (with tracking) with care and speed.
