I'm an avid Minecraft player, so
I'm super excited about these awesome new Minecraft goodies that have just
arrived in Home & Living!
The Light
up Redstone Ore is my favourite piece of Minecraft swag – yep
that’s right, it lights up (squee)! Simply tap to activate the light, which
has low, medium, and bright settings. It’s the perfect night light for
serious Minecrafters – you’ll be safe in it’s warm glow and dreaming of
your Minecraft creations! Surely this should keep the
pigmen away!?
Although it's not quite as satisfying – sometimes it's just easier to
buy the Torch instead of crafting it, especially IRL. So, when you've run out of
charcoal and wood or just can't seem to make enough to stop hostile mobs from
spawning at every corner, get yourself the Minecraft
Wall Torch. Place one every few feet in your home along the walls
and it'll stop any hostiles from popping up around the place… maybe, but just
mount it on your wall because it looks uber cool – and maybe, MAYBE it'll
keep zombies away. So far, it seems to be working… Have you seen any
zombies lately? Didn't think so ;-p
Some say that you shouldn't carry weapons around, but those people have
obviously never found themselves in a dark cave as an ominous Sssss echoes
spookily behind them. For times such as this (as they pop up so often!) may we
suggest keeping a Diamond
sword at the ready. Long lasting and ever-sharp, you'll be the best
prepared miner around!
