About Out Of Print

Out of Print is a one of a kind type of company. They celebrate the world’s great stories through fashion, with T-Shirts, Socks, Bags and Jewellery featuring iconic and often out of print book covers. Some are classics, some are just curious enough to make great t-shirts, but all are striking works of art.

They work closely with artists, authors and publishers to license the content that ends up in their collections and each product is treated to feel soft and worn like a well-read book.

In addition to spreading the joy of reading through our tees and accessories, Out Of Print are one of a growing number of socially conscious companies. They acknowledge that many parts of the world don’t have access to books at all and are working to change that. For each product sold, one book is donated to a community in need through their partner Books For Africa.

How we read is changing as we move further into the digital age. It’s unclear what the role of the book cover will be in this new era, but we feel it’s more important than ever to reflect on our own individual experiences with great literary art before it’s forever changed.

Leighton Meester in Of Mice and Men Tee

Leighton meester of Gossip Girl fame is showing her taste in an Of Mice and Men Tee!

The t-shirt features the classic 1937 first edition cover on a 100% cotton fitted tee, distressed to give the impression of a well worn book. Instagramming her new purchase earlier this year to celebrate her part in the Broadway rendition of ‘Of Mice and Men’, Leighton looks gorgeous in the unisex tee! The show is all over now, but Leighton is still making headlines as she has been working hard on a new album titled Hearstrings, which was released earlier this month!

Emma Watson has shown that she is no one hit wonder over the past years. Since rising to fame as Hermione in the Harry Potter movies, she has since had some great roles in Hollywood and has most recently surfaced as the UN ambassador for the campaign ‘HeForShe’, which sparked a world of feminist praise for the young Brown graduate.

Here she was spotted in the Great Gatsby Sweater which features the cover from the iconic first edition jacket of Fitzgerald's clas­sic novel.

Meester's Co-star in Of Mice and Men is none other than the Academy Award-nominee James Franco! Franco rose to fame, cruising by on his good looks and natural charisma. But behind the name is an intelligent mane who since starting out in the Cult Classic Freaks and Geeks has created an impressive filmography from critical successes such as 127 Hours to stoner comedies with friends such as Pineapple Express.
