Weekly Home Decor Inspiration - Workspaces!

By Stacey

As working from home is so popular, I thought we should offer up a little inspiration on creating your perfect workspace, whether that’s at home or in the corporate jungle.

A little decor can go a long way in lightening up the mood in the office – it’s always easier to find inspiration in a bold space that’s a reflection of your individual style, not to mention far more enjoyable to work this way. Especially for those of you who do work from home, there really is no reason for your workstation to look sterile and office-y, or carry a style that is too different to flow with the rest of the house. One of the best advantages of a home based work place is that you can create a surrounding that is as colourful and as cosy as you like, so be brave with your decor and create an inviting and inspiring place to get down to work.

Here are a some of my fave décor picks (all available in Home & Living) for sprucing up your workspace:

The coveted Leitmotiv Z Lamp – simple form and bold colouring – love it.

Another great light option you could go with is the Decor Red Studio Lamp, eye catching with its vibrant shade and unique base, it invigorates any space it occupies.

For staying organised in style, I can’t look past this Colourful Set of Storage Boxes (from my favorite brand General Eclectic).

Definitely one for the home office (unless you have some wall hanging space in corporate land), is this Happy Wallart, it measures 74×45cm and features the positive affirmation ‘Today will be the best day ever’. A smaller, yet just as inspiring option for office desks would be our Life is Like a Camera Shelf Plaque.

Keep memos, lists and inspiration all together in one pretty spot with our Magnetic Baroque Framed Blackboards, or simply plan your week with these bright and bold Weekday Chalkboards.

The Art of Hand Desk Cups from Luyesa double as a fun design piece and a handy home for pens and other bits and pieces.

Go ahead and have a click through our stylish study pics on your next coffee break (via the image in this post), and start planning out your desk design strategy – I hope we can help inspire the decorator within you to revamp your space!
