The easiest cable network that's already ready!

By Ben

Are you finding a wireless connection is letting you down when you're gaming, whether by range or instability? A powerline adaptor could be answer!

These handy gadgets provide a direct line from your modem, through your houses internal power lines to your device. There are many options out there, and the Netcomm NP203 Powerline is the best one I have seen, here's why:

I use the TP-Link Powerline Adapter Starter Kit myself to bring the internet from my wireless modem upstairs directly to the consoles in the lounge. When I'm playing first person shooters I've found the wireless connection was getting me.. well.. unfairly pwned.

Powerline adaptors send the internet around using the power points we plug things into and what makes this one special is the 4 Port switch, it means I can have my Xbox, PS3, TV and PC all connected at once now so no more switching the cable back and forth.

• Extend or create an Ethernet network using existing household powerpoints
• Kit consists of a 4-port desktop powerline adapter and a single port desktop powerline adapter
• High speed data rates of up to 200Mbps
• Ideal for connecting multiple Internet enabled devices within a home entertainment environment
• Range of up to 300 metres (power point to power point)
• Plug and play – no setup required

So if your wireless network is leaving you feeling like you should have got him first and a rage quit is on the way order yours today!
