Kia ora!
I’m very excited to bring you this new offering. Being a mum of two young boys
myself, I see a big need for a book like this…and I am constantly asked by
other parents to do one, so I know there is! Currently there is no local
(NZ-based) all-in-one nutrition and recipe book for parents of kids from newborn
to school age, that has the credentials behind it.
To put it simply, I wanted to create a book that is every parents ‘bible’ when it comes to feeding their kids. This book covers everything from the newborn stage to school-aged children. It is guaranteed to have the most easy-to-make, fuss- free, delicious recipes that babies, kids – and adults – will love. But on top of that, I wanted to ensure that it contains the most up-to-date and credible paediatric nutrition and feeding advice, so I have brought on board two of NZ’s leading paediatric dietitians, Jenny Douglas & Lisa Daniel.
I see this as being an ‘evergreen’ book in the market, with all parents
of young children wanting one. It also has huge potential in the gift market for
new parents.
