Description

This book is the first analysis of a headache in children with respect to the principal role of the meninges in its causation. The work is based on the clinical caseload and scientific research of the authors. Treating headache in children, medicine ignored meninges for quite a long time. Meningeal symptoms were checked only in children suspected of acute meningitis, and neurologic status examination of a child with a chronic headache was considered normal. The authors intend to explain that lesion of dura mater in children is the main substratum of numerous types of headaches - chronic and acute.
