Description

This book promotes a pro-kindness, anti-bullying movement. The book encourages children to be kind as a strategy to reduce bullying in schools. It includes 10 Acts of Kindness that children can perform with their parents plus a Kindness Pledge for them to recite each day. The book identifies four types of bullying (verbal, physical, social, cyber), the people involved in a bullying situation (bully, ally, victim, bystander) plus the talk-walk-tell strategy to deal with a bully. Children are encouraged to talk to a bully in a kind way. If the bullying continues, children are taught to walk away and tell an adult.
