The album itself is a masterpiece and is possibly still underrated if anything – but this remix is startlingly good, and I was sceptical. The power and punch of the mono mix is there, the clarity and width of the stereo mix remains, but crucially, there’s many featured moments that were just lost on the original masters that you can now hear, and the always audible stuff that we are so familiar with is definitely shinier and more alive – especially the drums the orchestra is down in volume a little on the closing track, but hey – that’s the way it was in the original mono. Worth your money.
