I specifically wanted some black & white chairs and these were cheap so I thought it was worth a punt. Pleasantly surprised. When I bought them there were 2× written reviews and both were negative however there were also 9× 5 star ratings and as these aren't expensive I thought it was worth a shot. So here is my take: I have 10 office chairs costing up to $800, compared to them this chair is definitely at the lower end in terms of build materials – the plastic, foam, and fabric are all lower grade compared with more premium (expensive) chairs but thats hardly surprising. But this chair is surprisingly comfortable, it even features a syncro-tilt mechanism and metal base which some of my more expensive chairs don't have. Despite it having a non-adjustable lumbar support, it is actually reasonably comfortable, and it feels sturdy and doesn't feel like it will fall apart instantly. The seat foam is firm and feels cheap but offers comfortable support – at least for my 80Kg frame. The back attaches in a similar way to an $800 Konfurb Luna chair and doesn't feel like it's going to break like someone else said. Sure there are way better chairs around but you'd need to spend considerably more, for the money I was pleasantly surprised – is it a great chair? No. But compared to more expensive chairs it is good value and way more comfortable than a “gaming chair” of similar price.
