Last week we paid a visit to Starship Childrens Hospital in Auckland City. The purpose of the visit was to donate a PlayStation 2 free-standing unit to the hospital.

The free-standing unit (which houses a PS2 console, TV and controllers) was a throwback to our Gameplanet Store days. We met Liaine from the Starship Foundation and Rata a play specialist at Starship who were very appreciative of our donation. We set it up in one of the play rooms, and showed them how to operate it. Although I'm sure the kids will be able to show them how it works :P
