Avalanche City will tour New Zealand this October, with support from Benny Tipene.

Dave Baxter (Avalanche City) and his touring band will bring the music from recent album – We Are For The Wild Places – to life on the tour of the same name; across four dates taking in Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin and Wellington.

“We Are For The Wild Places” recently debuted at #3 on the Official Top 40 Albums Chart and the album’s beautiful first single, ‘Inside Out’ has been a chart and radio smash hit – it is currently #1 Airplay after five consecutive weeks in the top spot; while the single also peaked at #1 on the sales chart.

“We Are For The Wild Places” (mixed by Death Cab For Cutie’s Chris Walla) is a mature and fitting follow-up to Avalanche City’s debut album – “Our New Life Above The Ground”, which spawned the Silver Scroll-winning single, ‘Love Love Love’
