The 2015 Emmy Award nominations were announced in Los
Angeles by Orange
Is the New Black star Uzo Aduba and So You Think You Can
Dance US host Cat Deeley. The ceremony is set to take place on
September 20 at the Microsoft Theatre in LA.
Stand out nominations this year go to Game of
Thrones with an epic 24 nominations in total, American Horror
Story: Freak Show with 19 and Mad Men with
it's final season scoring 11 nominations in total.

with trailers, sneak peeks, star panels and so much more!
Highlights were the Star
Wars panel with Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamil and Harrison Ford attending and

5. The Peanuts Movie Trailer
20th Century Fox have debuted the full length trailer for The Peanuts
Movie.
As you can see from the trailer all your favourite characters are here from
Charlie Brown, to Linus, to Pigpen, to Lucy, to Sally, plus–of
course–Snoopy!
This film looks to be so awesome and will appeal to not only the little ones
but also the older generation for a trip down memory lane.
It seems the creators have really stayed true to the classic comic strip
style that we know and love.

Released just in time for the school holidays is the 2015 TV show Thunderbirds are
Go! with volume 1 and 2 available on DVD for just $19.99 each.
It is the adaptation of the original 1960's Thunderbirds
series using a combination of CGI and miniatures made by NZ's own Weta
Workshop.
The new series of the TV classic, Thunderbirds, will appeal to the little
ones and bring back memories for those of us that grew up following the
adventures of the Tracy family. All your favourite characters return with a
slight revamp into the modern age plus a new Thunderbird craft, ‘Thunderbird
Shadow’ (aka Thunderbird S).

After a few sneak peeks at what is to come at the 2015 New Zealand International Film
Festival the full line-up and
schedule for Auckland has finally been announced!
There are so many to choose from but here are our Top
10 Picks of what to definitely have on your list this year:
Ex Machina
The much talked about sci-fi film of this year will finally be reaching our
shores!
The film is about a young programmer, played by Domhnall Gleeson, who gets
picked to work on a breakthrough experiment by examining the human behaviour of
a female AI, played by Alicia Vikander in a truly outstanding performance.
The film also stars the brilliant Oscar Isaac as the reclusive AI
genius. I'm keen to see that dance scene that everyone seemed to be
talking about when it premièred at the 2015 SXSW Film Festival.

5. Maleficent 2 Is Happening
It was confirmed this week that Disney's sequel to 2014's Maleficent is in
the works with Linda Woolverton returning to write the screenplay alongside Joe
Roth who is back as producer.
News of a sequel is not surprising as the film grossed nearly $760 million
worldwide.
