Announcing our Season of War Painting Competition Winner!

By David

The global global Season of War campaign for Age of Sigmar has finished and the forces of Order were victorious, ushering in a new age of hope across the mortal realms.

So let's take a look at the results and see who our lucky winner is…

Hope Springs Anew

For the past month, the battlefields of the Realm of Life have rung to the clangour of war. The worshippers of Chaos, the bellowing hordes of Destruction and the grim armies of Death have all hurled themselves against the defences of the cities of Order. Yet through the sterling efforts of all the Order players out there, the Seeds of Hope have survived intact!

This leaves three exciting new cities of Order established within Ghyran, and may well mark the beginning of a resurgent offensive by the forces of Sigmar and his allies. Or will this usher in new counter attacks by the forces of Chaos, Death & Destruction, ever jealous of such success.

Here at Mighty Ape the forces of Chaos reigned supreme, narrowly edging out Order and Destruction to claim the local bragging rights.

Mighty Ape Hobbies Painting Competition

As part of the campaign we ran a participation painting competition over on the Mighty Ape Hobbies facebook page and had some fantastic entries, which you can view in the Competition Album.

An honourable mention has to go to Campbell Orchard, who used the motivation of the Call to Arms Age of Sigmar tournament to paint his way to an amazing 15 warscrolls worth of entries!

However while the odds were definitely in his favour the Chaos Gods of random.org bestowed their favour to another…

Congratulations Andrew Hannagan, who's Sorceress was the lucky winning entry.

Andrew wins himself an epic Age of Sigmar prize pack including:

Thanks to all those who entered and we hope that you enjoyed this different style of painting competition.
