Lynda Carter will always be WW in the iconic outfit, but as a very close second, Gal Gadot will do. She'll probably be today's “Lynda”, as will the outfit. The film is humorous, warm, action-filled (thankfully though, not overly so, like some recent movies of the same genre). Chris Pine – well, at first thought of him in the Steve Trevor role – not a fan…but he suits this one, and kinda nails it in the film (gotta say, glad he's …maybe not ;)). Glad there was some Amazon action in the film – a prelude to Justice League no doubt. Upshot, if you're a WW fan you'll love it. If not, you'll probably enjoy it anyways. Roll on # 2!

Avoiding most cliche's this well rounded adventure is a great origins story for the legend of Wonder Woman. Patty Genkins direction is well crafted and balanced & Gal Gadot fills the boots with a zest & energy that quickly dispels any nay sayers on her worthiness to be compared to Linda Carter's portrayal. A family friendly flick for at least with no gratuitousness, but some Parental Guidance for those under 10 for some war scenes portrayed. A highly recommended viewing, & worthy of Blu Ray quality.

Wonder Woman is the best female superhero movie ever and it did a good job with the origin storyline and everything.
