Yoshitoshi was one of the late masters of the ukiyo-e or 'floating world' genre of Japanese woodblock prints.This image is taken from a series of 23 prints depicting scenes from popular Kabuki plays. Here a young Tamiya B�tar�, surrounded by lotus flowers, watches as his nurse draws water from a well in preparation for ritual ablutions. He will later go on to avenge the murder of his father in an act that gives this play its name: A Child's Revenge. . Full Color Puzzle Completed Size: 27 in x 19 in This is an image from the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge UK, part of Cambridge University. It is one of the finest museums in the world.
