Description

A BRIDGE TOO FAR:
Directed by Richard Attenborough, this BAFTA-winning wartime drama details a pivotal day in 1944 when an Allied task force tried -- and failed -- to win World War II by seizing control of key bridges in Holland. The film boasts a cast of thousands (including Sean Connery, Robert Redford, James Caan, Anthony Hopkins and Laurence Olivier) and some of the most intense battle sequences ever captured on camera.

THE RUSSIA HOUSE:
After intercepting a Russian manuscript meant for small-time publisher Barley Blair (Sean Connery), CIA agents urge Blair to follow up on the deal. He wants nothing to do with it -- until he sees a photo of the book's beautiful editor, Katya (Michelle Pfeiffer). Based on the John le Carr novel, this beautifully photographed tale of Cold War intrigue was one of the first U.S.-produced films to be shot largely on location in the Soviet Union.

ENTRAPMENT:
When retired thief Robert "Mac" MacDougal (Sean Connery) is implicated in the disappearance of a priceless painting, insurance investigator Virginia "Gin" Baker (Catherine Zeta-Jones) sets a trap to catch her suspect. But Gin is not exactly who she seems. Soon, she and Mac have joined forces to pull off -- quite literally -- the heist of the millennium in this lively crime-caper flick from director Jon Amiel.

THE RISING SUN:
An ex-investigator (Sean Connery) with knowledge of Japanese customs is called in to help a detective (Wesley Snipes) solve a prostitute's murder. Committed during the height of a corporate gala, the crime was captured on video -- but the evidence has been suspiciously altered. As they work together to solve the case, the unlikely partners uncover a chain of corporate corruption that's nearly as gruesome as the victim's death.
