Karen is the Vice President for International Ministries with the Global Leadership Network. She has a passion to see men and women leading well together and finds herself speaking to leaders all over the world. She is also the President for the Baptist World Alliance Women's Department and commences her term of service July 2020-July 2025. In this role she will give vision and direction for women globally encouraging them in the work they do in their continental regions. Karen is a gifted communicator and speaks often at conferences and churches across Australia. She is a relational and humorous storyteller who connects with many varied audiences. Her passion is in seeing people challenged and equipped to live life boldly. Karen has been married to Mark for 34 years and they have a son and daughter who are both married. With a love for long coffees with friends, a great movie and creative spaces, she is not one to be into maintenance but thrives in ever changing and dynamic environments.
