Author Biography:

I am a boy dreamer masquerading as a logical adult. I fell in love with language and fairy tales on my Grandmother's lap. I got a bunch of degrees, taught in colleges, and wrote twenty books. This book of 136 stories is what happened when that boy never grew up and gave the book a name as big as the book-Stories of Sunshine and Funtime, Wonder and Thunder, Mystery and Magic for the Young to Grow On-whew. Life has gifted me beyond measure, and hopefully some of my gratitude flows into these warm stories. And when my life ends hopefully I will be watching the sunset over mountains or the ocean and feeling thanks and writing...
