A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…
Three decades after the defeat of the Galactic Empire, a new threat arises.
The First Order attempts to rule the galaxy and only a ragtag group of heroes
can stop them, along with the help of the Resistance.
The Force Awakens is the first film in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. The film
is produced by J. J. Abrams, his long-time collaborator Bryan Burk, and
Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy. John Williams, composer for the previous
six films, returned to compose its score.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens Reviews:

first Star Wars seem simultaneously eternal and effervescent. –
The Force Awakens pumps new energy and life into a hallowed franchise in
a way that both resurrects old pleasures and points in promising new
directions. – Hollywood Reporter
It is precisely the Star Wars movie that you want it to be. This is the
one you were waiting for. You may be waiting just as intently for the next
one. – The New Republic
