Skins has got to be the best teenage show produced as of lately, not to mention one of the best shows altogether. You have to love the bright outfits, the great soundtrack, funny one-liners and sexuality of this show, and the fact that its so in-your-face about everything makes it so great. While putting out all the controversial issues concerning teenagers in this day like pregnancy and abortion, hard drugs and eating disorders, it still manages to be real, relatable, vivid and unforgettable. But what makes Skins so great is the deep characterisation and the actors in the parts. Each episode deals with one character and the problems they deal with, so you get an extremely close look at a number of talented young people and the multi-layered parts they play. Skins is almost impossible to dislike. The DVD is more than satisfactory in coming with awesome extras like Unseen Skins. Final word: 5 of out 5 stars. Love. It.
