Author Biography:

I am a boy dreamer masquerading as a logical adult. I fell in love with language and fairy tales on my Grandmother's lap. I got a bunch of degrees, taught in colleges, and wrote thirty books. This book flows from my love of nature, from an almost mandate from life to give back some of the joy and beauty that has filled me. The sea is an evergiving source! Life has gifted me beyond measure, and hopefully some of my gratitude flows into these warm stories. And when my life ends hopefully I will be watching the sunset over mountains or the ocean and feeling thanks and writing...
