The sound quality on these headphones is more than adequate. I have no
complaints there and consider it superior to any other combinations I have
tried. In terms of comfort it did take me awhile to get used to them.
I normally wear a pair of Philips HP170s for listening to music while working
and those never caused any problems, but with the Saitek set it started to annoy
the top of my head after about an hour's worth of wear. No amount of adjustment
helped for that.
My big complaint is the general flimsiness of the joints. Where the
headphones joins the head strap there is a plastic swivel joint. Picking them up
off my chair and turning them from the flat (They swivel for fitting into the
case, I guess) position into a wearable position snapped it without any form of
force required.
Now they're useless as you can't wear them with that swivel broken.
