I had never seen the first episode and I really loved the way they showed the time travel. It's a show that all our family love to sit down and watch together. Even with some of the silly looking clothes that are worn. Special features contained within this DVD set really shows how much fun the actors had putting this shows together. Scott Bakula shares some of his memorable moments for each episode and how they effected him. The various guest stars or the young up and coming are great to see what they were like before they were stars. This is the show that made Sam Beckett a household name in the eightes, with being able to live life in somebody else's shoes.
Quantum Leap is sure to keep you watching as you always wonder what/where he is going to end up in the next episode. Anyone who has not seen Quantum Leap should very soon.
A great feel good TV series for the whole family. Watch Sam leap from person to person through different era's. I got all 4 seasons and also the 4 season of Star Trek Enterprise with Scott Bakula
Theorizing that one could time travel within his own lifetime, Dr. Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and Vanished…He woke to find himself trapped in the past, facing mirror images that were not his own and driven by an unknown force to change history for the better. His only guide on this journey is Al, an observer from his own time, who appears in the form of a hologram that only Sam can see and hear. And so Dr. Beckett finds himself leaping from life to life, striving to put right what once went wrong and hoping each time that his next leap will be the leap home.
