I brought 1 of these pet beds to see how they would go, both dogs love it, so I've just ordered another one. I thought the pillows where a bit thin, so I brought a $10 bag of ‘hoby fill’ to make them plumper…I also brought some fabric stick on velcro and put on the first cushion and wood so they stay firmly in place when the dogs hop on and off. But they're perfect for my fur babies and look smart in my lounge.
Ad said ‘foam cushions’ but they are lightly stuffed dacron at best and do not hold shape – also slide all over the place.
I am in a heap of pain after putting this together as the legs do NOT go on easily. If you have arthritis or similar pain in hands please don't get this if you don't have someone to help assemble it. I am in excruciating pain now as the legs are SO difficult to push sideways to lock into place.
Also the edge around the metal backing is sharp, so I will not be able to put this anywhere my cats play as they are very likely to injure themselves.
The ONLY up side to this couch is that as soon as I put it together my smallest cat climbed into it and looks very happy. This is the only saving grace for this bed.
I got it on sale at $79, but it definitely not worth even that much in my opinion. Please don't pay full price for this.
Not overly happy with quality and suitability. The edges of the metal frame section are sharp. The cushion is a bit flat and could do with more filling. It's okay size for a kitten but too small for an adult cat.
