Lots of things wrong with this item. It doesn't completely cut any vegetables. Not even tomatoes. They all get stuck. Thickness regulator just turns round and round without actually doing proper adjustment. The julienne blades don't fully retract so you even normal slice cuts come out half shredded. The arms for the slicer dont lock in place so it wobbles everywhere. Also the instructions included are for a different mandoline slicer.
Item in the instructions is different, for starters. The strip blades don't retract or adjust properly. If you try it regardless, what you slice gets trapped between the blade plate and does not pop out the back.
