Description

Finding quality mentors who will spend time with our children on a regular basis should be an intentional part of the development of our children. In this book, Craig Thompson outlines ten of the key principles he has learned from using the intentional mentoring model with his own children. Each chapter is also filled with stories by his children on how the mentoring program has impacted their growth and development. This book can help parents understand the role which mentors can play in developing strong, mature children who are better prepared to transition into adulthood.

Author Biography:

Craig Thompson lives in Tennessee with his wife and family. He has spoken to audiences and groups across five continents on a variety of topics including leadership training, biblical knowledge and family life. His current focus involves mentoring and life development for the next generations. In 2010, Craig pioneered the 52 Godly Men and 52 Godly Women projects with his own children. In 2017, he launched The Mentoring Revolution, a mentoring curriculum for churches and community small groups which is designed to provide an easy-to-use framework for intergenerational training. Rhea Perry is the founder of Educating for Success. She likes to take home education one step further by encouraging families to consider Entrepreneurial Education, a philosophy focused on preparing students who may not be college-bound to create successful home businesses that operate on passive residual income.
