The drive way seems endless; its edges crowded with a riot of rhododendrons and scented pine trees. One final bend and there it is: an impossibly romantic pile with a fairytale turrets - Glenbogle. Just one glimpse of this Victorian, gothic indulgence is enough to convince anyone who still needs convincing that Archie MacDonald, Laird of Glenbogle, is right to move heaven and earth for his birthright. But, in the third series of Monarch of the Glen, the new young clan chief is far from being master of all he surveys. With Glenbogle still strapped for cash, the bank is about to take over in the stern and steely shape of Stella Moon. Stella's arrival draws everyone into an unspoken alliance against her, and brings Archie closer to Lexie. Meanwhile, Archie's errant parents, Hector and Molly, continue to go their own sweet way, doing their unintentional best to frustrate their son's endeavors.
