Detective Sergeant Luke Ellington is praised and acclaimed for his role in the capture and arraignment of sadistic serial killer, Clarence Campbell. He is subsequently assigned to find the missing daughter of politician David Seymour. Senior Constable, Sarah Bradley is appointed Ellington's 'sidekick'. Their investigation leads them to Elise Seymour's ethereal bedroom. Here they find evidence suggesting that Elise had adopted a dual personality, had entered a time warp, and appeared to have lost touch with reality. Ellington becomes obsessed with the case and visits the bedroom time and time again. The case takes a dramatic turn when two of Elise's former associates are brutally murdered in separate incidences.
