Four couples set off on a three day, self-drive river cruise. Brett and Crystal, both in relationships with other partners, discover a deep attraction for each other. This does not go unnoticed, and anger and resentment begin to simmer.
On the last morning, the group is shocked to find Crystal missing. A thorough search fails to find her. She has disappeared without a trace.
Three years pass, and a body is found. Under the direction of attractive Detective-Sergeant Stephanie Darrieux, the group re-unites. During her investigation, Darrrieux uncovers disturbing secrets. Not everyone is as they appear to be. Four people will meet violent deaths before the mystery is solved.

Judy Parkinson has written two previous novels i.e. "An Unusual Alliance" a work of contemporary literary fiction set in Australia and published in July 2021, and "Missing In Red" a contemporary crime/fiction set in Sydney, Australia, and published in 2022. She lives with her husband Warren, in the beautiful seaside village of Boat Harbour, Port Stephens, Australia. Besides writing, she plays competitive bridge three times a week.
