Author Biography:

As a youth living in Bermuda S.K. Randolph's love of reading pulled her toward epic fantasy and science fiction adventures. She dreamed of writing but first she expressed her creativity through dance. A career evolved in the US and Canada spanning several decades in performing, teaching, choreographing, and directing. For 14 years she was the Director of Dance at the renowned Interlochen Center for the Arts. Through the years she created and staged over sixty original performances including extended, intricate story ballets with up to ninety dancers. Her award winning creations presented a compelling, complex layering of fantasy stories. Moving beyond the world of dance, she now presents her new intriguing stories in the written medium. Drawn back to the beauty and dreams of high fantasy, her imagined worlds and characters are a bit different than most - always more than meets the mind on first reading. She enjoys her life far from civilization. She lives on a boat cruising the remote waters of Alaska where she spends her time at anchor writing, photographing, creating digital art, and catching dinner.
