Description

MasTer's Reach: VarTerels' Universe Volume 3The VarTerels' Universe is in chaos. A galactic drama intensifies. On the surface of the fountain, Elcaro's Eye, pictures flash and disappear: Esn and his friends, pursued by the evil Mindeco from RewFaar and a savage creature from the planet TreBlaya, stumble between giant man-eating trees. A rumbling howl pushes them faster. If only they could teleport... The raven Karrew sits on a makeshift perch, his injured wing taped to his side. Around him, ghosts of violent criminals hover, empty eyes stare. Distantly, he recalls the life he once lived...

Author Biography:

STORY TELLER: The pursuit of ballet led S.K. to the art of storytelling through movement. Her dance career spanned four decades of performing, teaching, choreographing, and directing. Over sixty of her original choreographic works were brought to life for theatre audiences in the United States, Canada, Bermuda, and Japan.DIGITAL ARTIST: S.K. also creates image art. Since 1997 she has been creating original digital art on her computer using a process of her own creation from her photographs.VOYAGE TO WRITING: In 2010, she retired from the world of dance to tell her stories on the printed page. S.K. lived full-time on her boat for a decade cruising the coast of Southeast Alaska. Anchored in one remote, quiet cove or another, cut off from radio, television, cell phones, and the internet, she devoted her life to honing her skills photographing nature, creating digital art, catching dinner, and writing. Her storytelling now is through words and illustrations on the printed 'stage'. BACK ASHORE: Today, she is reclaiming her "land legs" in the high desert of Western Colorado. Writing and creating art with mule deer looking in her studio window instead of brown bears and humpback whales on the other side of the porthole. S.K. is thriving in her new surroundings... but she so misses Karrew and the other Alaskan ravens! STORY TELLER: The pursuit of ballet led S.K. to the art of storytelling through movement.
