Author Biography

David R. Olson is University Professor Emeritus of the OISE/University of Toronto, Canada. He is author of The World on Paper (CUP, 1994) and Psychological Theory and Educational Reform: How School Remakes Mind and Society (CUP, 2003). He and Nancy Torrance are coeditors of the forthcoming Cambridge Handbook of Literacy.
