Bright young minds will quickly grasp the fundamentals of the scientist's complex ideas, thanks to the way they are unpacked and explained in clear, easy-to-follow language. - Explore Newton's life story, his years spent pondering scientific puzzles, and the famous flash of inspiration beneath the apple tree that led to his revolutionary new theory. - Take a tour through the other important ideas and theories of this great scientist, his experiments with light, his invention of the reflecting telescope, and his development of a new form of mathematics. - Uncover the world in which Newton lived, find out how his notions were received, and how they influenced both contemporary and later thinkers. Readers aged 8+ will be drawn in by the lavish illustrations of Paula Zamudio, featured throughout.
