Triple bill of documentaries. ‘Tornado Alley’ (2011), narrated by Bill Paxton, follows a group of storm chasers as they study tornadoes across the central region of the United States, often referred to as Tornado Alley. Led by Sean Casey, the team attempt to capture imagery and information from inside a tornado for the first time.
‘Grand Canyon Adventure – River at Risk’ (2008), narrated by Robert Redford, sees Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Wade Davis journey down the Colorado River into the depths of the Grand Canyon as they discuss this environmental issue.
The footage captures the vastness of the landscape, while explaining the need to conserve water. Finally, ‘Hidden Universe’ (2013) takes a close look at some of the farthest reaches of space by examining images captured by some of the world's most powerful telescopes. Narrated by Miranda Richardson, the film explores the earliest galaxies and offers fresh insight into the origins of the universe.
