Author Biography:

LUCINDA BECKER is a commercial trainer of engineers, devising, developing and delivering courses in effective communication, time management, team working, report writing, presentation skills, leadership techniques and career management. She also teaches at Reading University in the Departments of Engineering, Social Sciences, English and Management. She is also author of How to Manage your Arts, Humanities and Social Science Degree and co-author (with Joan van Emden) of Effective Communication for Arts and Humanities Students. - DAVID PRICE is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, a Chartered Chemist and a Visiting Research Fellow at Reading University. He is an L.E.A. school governor and gives lectures to sixth formers, tutors, undergraduates and postgraduates and presents his research at international conferences.
