Author Biography:

LUCINDA BECKER teaches at the University of Reading within the Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences and Management. She is also a professional trainer, devising, developing and delivering courses in effective communication, successful presentations, management techniques and job search skills. She is co-author (with Joan van Emden) of Effective Communication for Arts and Humanities Students, and is a member of the Institute for Learning and Teaching in Higher Education.
