Description

Ghost Bus follows the exploits of Doc and his unusual tendency to entangle himself in the lives of others. When Doc encounters Carmen, a local bus driver, on his ride to the bus terminal, an unlikely friendship is formed between the two. Carmen's sudden and untimely death leads Doc to question what authorities had ruled natural cause. With encouragement from his wife Maya and assistance from The Woman with the Red Handbag, Doc embarks on the investigation of a lifetime. With less than five days to solve the case, the trio must determine the culprit and the motive. And with new information coming to light each day, what was once a simple puzzle becomes a complex web of events. It is only a combination of luck, chance, and pure intellect that can help Doc find the answers he so desperately seeks. Ghost Bus is the second book of the 'North Main Street' series.
