"How else could it end?"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

After killing off Buffy at the end of Season Five (come on – like that's a spoiler) we all cried out for more, and Joss gave it to us in spades. Yes, season six was a pity-me bore-fest in parts but it gets made up for with so many twists, turns, new characters, old characters...... Season seven is brilliant. How else could you draw a final line under seven years of living on a Hell Mouth then to do a season about opening up the hellmouth itself and facing the First Evil? (and that isn't a spoiler either – because we met the First back when Buffy was still in high school and wondered where it went when it just faded away after it's “drive Angel crazy” plan didn't pan out)

And, if you go back to the last episode of season four (the dream sequence David Lynch-esque masterpiece that at the time we all thought was completely random) almost the whole of the next two seasons was prophesiced. How cool is that?

Special features on this season won't let you down if, like me, you're an uber-nerd. The commentaries are hysterical.

Plus, picking up the boxed set $20 cheaper than in the stores gives you a warm fuzzy feeling of having snagged a bargain. And leaves $20 in your pocket to go towards the next set of Angel.

"Sad to say goodbye to an awesome series"

With alot of genres in this one season of Buffy, it is a unforgettable finale. Mixed with drama, Comedy, Horror and Action, All the episodes are very good. Can't wait to watch it from the start again.

"Fantastic Series Finale"

The final season features not just Buffy and her friends but the return of Sunnydale High and all the evil connected to it. Has lots of great new characters as well as some of the best old ones like Giles, Angel, Faith, Drusilla and the Master

"In the last season of Buffy all bets are off."
4 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

In the last season of Buffy all bets are off. Its apocalypse time in Sunnydale again, only this time it's serious. Buffy and the Scoobies find themselves training the ‘Potentials’, slayers in waiting, all teenage girls, and all in grave danger. Buffy becomes the leader of this slayer army – battling against The First, an evil that can't be touched, and seemingly can't be defeated. It's an emotion filled season, with some old faces returning and all the major characters facing their inner (and outer) demons. Be prepared to say good bye to all your favourite Buffy characters as the shows comes to an end after seven years, some in more ways than one.

The seventh series of Buffy The Vampire Slayer begins with a mystery: someone is murdering teenage girls all over the world and something is trying hard to drive Spike mad. This is a spectacular start to Buffy's last year as the consequences of earlier actions unfold in a string of surprises and shocks punctuated as always by some of the funniest lines on television.
