If your into supernatural thrillers then you'll love this Five DVD pack.

Each movie has the whole otherworldly ambience ranging from the mystery type movie in half light, to the semi-horror movie of the Playstation game based Silent Hill.

There are no duds in this pack. I thoroughly enjoyed them all.

Description

Skeleton Key:
Caroline, a live-in nurse, is hired to care for an elderly woman's ailing husband in their home - a foreboding and decrepit Gothic mansion in the marshy backwoods just outside of New Orleans. Intrigued by the enigmatic couple and the dark and mysterious surroundings, Caroline begins to explore the old mansion. Armed with a skeleton key that unlocks every door, she discovers a hidden attic room that holds a deadly and terrifying secret. Caroline soon discovers that the mansion is haunted by a pair of century old spirits. The spirits are evil and are manipulating the living to fit their desires, and Caroline herself is at the centre of one of their sinister schemes.

The Return:
A supernatural thriller starring Sarah Michelle Gellar ("The Grudge," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer") as Joanna Mills, a tough young Midwesterner determined to learn the truth behind the increasingly terrifying supernatural visions that have been haunting her. Joanna has made a successful career for herself, as sales representative for a trucking company. But her private life has been difficult; estranged from her father (Sam Shepard), stalked by an obsessed ex-boyfriend (Adam Scott), and with few friends, Joanna fears that she is losing control. She sees and feels the brutal murder of a young woman she's never met, at the hands of a heartless killer - a man who appears to be making Joanna his next target. Determined to fight back, Joanna is guided by her nightmares to the murdered woman's hometown. Once there, she will discover that some secrets can't be buried; some spirits never die; and that the murder she is trying to solve may be her own.

Silent Hill:
After the continuous sleep walking episodes of Sharon, the young daughter of Rose Da Silva, the decision is made to take Sharon to the place only mentioned in her restless dreams- Silent Hill. However, the road to Silent Hill is anything but easy to access, and Rose creates a high speed chase between herself and a police officer only to end in a crash for them both. When she wakes up, Sharon has disappeared and Rose is at the entrance to the deserted, dream-like town of Silent Hill. As Rose begins the search for her daughter, she does not realise the terror and mystery surrounding her. Rose is led on a blind search for her beloved daughter, finding herself getting more and more entwined into the disturbing past of Silent Hill.

Half Light:
Successful mystery novelist Rachel Carlson is horrified when her beloved seven-year-old son, Thomas, drowns at her Primrose Hill house. A year later, despite a record advance for her next novel, she is still too distraught to write. Her marriage to Brian, an editor and struggling novelist, has also disintegrated, and her best friend Sharon arranges for her to rent a secluded cottage in the tiny and remote village of Ingonish Cove in the Scottish Highlands. As Rachel adapts to life in the charming village, she slowly develops a relationship with Angus McCulloch, the handsome lighthouse keeper who lives and works on the deserted island off her coast. However, just as Rachel begins to feel restored, she begins to receive haunting messages from her dead son, warning her of danger. Unsure whether the messages are real or whether she’s losing her mind, Rachel is plunged into a world of madness, murder and the supernatural.

White Noise:
The pregnant wife of the architect Jonathan Reeves (Michael Keaton) is missed after a car accident near a cliff, and the police do not know whether she is dead or abducted. Some weeks later, a mysterious man comes to Jonathan and tells him that his wife is dead and had communicated with him through Electronic Voice Phenomena. Sooner Jonathan is informed by the police that her body was found in the sea near a harbor, and the tormented grieving Jonathan decides to try to contact her using uncontrolled E.V.P and jeopardizing his own life.
