The chair vibration works independant of ps4. Increase the bass input strength on a dial on the chair = increased vibration on the lower back. If you turn up the bass you will have heaps of lower back vibration to clue into weapons fired. Comfy but dont rely on arm chair handles to lift you in and out of the chair. They come with a warning not to use them to move the chair or get out of the chair. That said the 360 swivel doesn't need you to use them. On a therapeutic note for lower back injury I suspect the lower back rumble vibration will provide good rehab for lower back injury. A bonus the designers probably didn't account for.
