The Royal Rumble. It begins with two men battling it out in the ring. Every couple of minutes, the melee is joined by another. Then another, and another until it’s grown into a 30-man battle. At the end, the last man standing is awarded a main event at Wrestlemania and a shot at either the WWE Championship or the World Heavyweight Championship. In its nearly 20-year history, the Royal Rumble has been one of the cornerstone events in WWE and has been responsible for some of the greatest moments in the history of the sport.
