Description

This fourth volume in the series examines the portrayal of women in film, as well as their involvement in the medium-as filmmakers, screenwriters, actresses, critics, and characters. Janet Todd (editor) is a fellow of Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge. She is the author of, among other books, In Adam's Garden, Women's Friendship in Literature, and Sensibility.
