As the youngest child in a large family, Donna felt lost in the crowd. She entertained herself by making up stories and friends to play with. By age 5, Donna had taught herself to read, and that began her imaginative journey to dreamy castles with princes and fairy godmothers. Donna is a grandmother, random fact-finder, and encourager. And, yes, she believes she's a superhero. She lives in California with her family and four cats. (Sadly, no mice like Simon) Diane began illustrating her own stories around age 6. She went on to a 60+ year career as an artist, goldsmith, and jeweler-earning multiple degrees in Fine Art. Diane took time away from her work to teach art classes at the local elementary schools, and once crafted a fairy house from driftwood. Diane lives along the Central Coast of California - close to the ocean she loves-with her family, three cats, and a dog that might look a bit like one of the Superhero School students.
