OaDea was born in Albany, New York, in a middle-class family. From the day she was born, things happened to her that showed her the difference between good and evil. There were some very bad things in her life, yet there were some very wonderful things as well. In writing Winged Angel, she went through many different emotions. She has seen both sides of good and evil. There were times when her own soul might have gone either way. In writing these poems she found a peace, one she never knew she had. She has been writing poetry for 35 yearsanearly all of her life. However, this collection is important to her. Many of the poems have touched many people already. They have changed lives for the better. Her fondest hope is that they will continue to do so. If nothing else, they will make you think.
