An exposé of phony traffic laws and dangerous driving habits. The State would like everyone to believe that it cares about your safety. It does not! But, of course, it can't be admitted, so laws are enacted that make you think they care about your safety. In reality, the current crop of laws put you at risk.People need to understand that crashing is a business and the State makes a lot of money from all the transactions that flow from a crash. It's an industry that produces vast amounts of revenue for a lot of people including the State in the form of sales and income taxes. Not only will the hypocrisy be exposed, but suggestions will be offered to help you minimize the risk of crashing.

Author Biography:

Al Cinamon is well qualified to write a book about driving. He is a certified driving instructor licensed by the NYS Dep't. of Motor Vehicles. He has been offering quality driving instruction since 1965. He owned his own auto school and was a Chief Instructor for the Empire Safety Council, a sponsoring agency for the NY State Point & Insurance Reduction Program. Mr. Cinamon publishes a semi-annual newsletter that is distributed to his students. It can also be read on line at his website: joyauto.webs.com Mr. Cinamon says that "when you teach, you learn." He now shares what he has learned from his many years of teaching on the road and in the classroom. This book is an exposé that sheds light on the duplicitous nature of traffic laws that can cause you to crash. It also reveals how many taken-for-granted driving habits place individuals in terrible danger. This is a book that needs to be read by all persons who are involved in the traffic system. That would include motorists, learners, their parents, pedestrians and even driving instructors. While he exposes hypocrisy, he also offers suggestions for driving safely. Everyone may not agree with all his statements, but he does back them up with sound logic. Reading this book will be an eye-opener. It may even be considered shocking and controversial. However, everyone will, no doubt, learn a thing or two that will make their driving experience safer and more pleasurable.
