Author Biography:

John Gardiner - Born June 21, 1949 in Perth, Western Australia. The novel, WHAAM! was written over the period 1972 - 1973 and followed by 1971 (Riders On The Storm) and 1972 (Exile On Main Street), further explorations of the representative era. From the 1970s through to 2007 more titles were written: Myths I, Myths II, Myths III, Portraits, Masques, Man à la Mode, Tapestries, Mosaic and Tutti Frutti, in addition to a book of essays, He Sits 'Mongst Us Like A Descended God, the latter being one of the author's special interests. The essays exemplify how Francis Bacon wove autobiographical threads through the Shake-speare Folio of 1623, of which he was the true author.
