The Welland EZ Power enclosure offers USB 3.0 SuperSpeed transmission rate of up to 5Gbps. The computer is capable of reading and writing to the external drive at its maximum speed, but it is also backward compatible with USB 2.0 host controller of your computer. (Using USB 3.0 host controller is recommended.) The enclosure itself is constructed with a high quality aluminium case that not only protects the hard drive but also offers superior heat dissipation.
