I've been using the weleda nail pen for a few months now, and have just run out. I applied multiple times a day and rubbed it in well.
I feel it's made a huge difference in my nails. They seem to grow faster, but also are less bendy, and haven't split as much. This was a huge problem for me, but isn't now. I would recommend this, it has been well worth the price for me.

Directions for use
Twist the bottom of the pen, then apply it and gently massage it into your nails
